Unfortunately Demonstrative

From the L.A. Times:

Crews are working to clean up an oil spill that dumped an estimated 672 gallons of crude oil last week into a Huntington Beach flood-control channel that drains to wetlands and the Pacific Ocean, authorities said Wednesday.

Of course, if everything went as planned, the only negative effects of increased oil drilling would be the damaged environment surrounding the rig and the atmosphere, which would absorb CO2 and pollutants from the gas once it was used. But, of course, everything doesn’t go as planned, as this story shows.
