Republican “Patriotism”

My thoughts exactly, courtesy of Paul Krugman, on the conservative reaction to the failure of Chicago’s 2016 Olympic bid. While I don’t think the lobbying trip was necessarily the best use of Obama’s time, and I know that this was not reaction of every or even a majority of conservatives, it exposes the utter hypocrisy of the Far Right’s “true patriot/Real America” rhetoric.
